When education changes the world: award for Jana Merunková

The international Women Changing the World Awards go to people whose work has a measurable impact on the community around them. In the education category, it was awarded this year to Jana Merunková, director of yourchance o.p.s.

Behind the award is more than ten years of work to ensure that money is discussed in schools in a practical way and without moralizing — courses for teachers, project days, publications and conferences.

"Financial literacy is not a subject, it is a skill. And skills are learned by doing," is how it is summed up in one sentence that has guided the project from the beginning.
