How much does it cost?
Nothing. Signing up and all the features are free — contests, coins, messages, everything.
How do I upload a video?
Once you’re signed in, click Upload a video. It works straight from your phone or computer, and you can pick several files at once (up to 10) — they’re combined into one post and viewers flick between them with the arrows.
Why isn’t my video visible straight away?
Every video is checked by the editors first, so the school stays a safe and friendly place. It usually takes a few hours. Once it’s approved, it appears in Videos and on your profile.
What are coins?
They’re our likes. 
You give them to videos you enjoyed — they add leaderboard points for the author. Coins can be given on the website and in the app, but not to your own video (that would be too easy 🙂).

Every month we run contests with prizes from our partners. Each contest has its rules, the prize and a Send a video to the contest button — you enter with a single click. Entries are ranked by coins, so get your school on board!
What are the leaderboard and badges for?
You collect points for videos, coins, comments and shares. The leaderboard shows the best authors of the month and of all time, and your points take you up through the levels. Your badge appears next to your name on your profile and in the leaderboard.
Can I follow my favourite authors?
Yes — click Follow on the author’s profile. Only you can see who you follow (and who follows you), in the My class section of your profile; it isn’t shown publicly anywhere.
How do messages work?
You can write to people you follow — with the Send a message button on their profile, or from the 💬 bubble in the bottom right. The first message from someone new arrives as a request you can accept or decline. And the editors write to you in Messages from the editors on your profile.
What is the Q&A?
A place to ask about anything. The community answers, and the editors mark the best answers as verified by the editors.
Can I go live?
You can! You’ll find Go live on your profile — it runs straight from your phone’s browser. Approved broadcasts appear on the Live page and on the home page.
How does location sharing work?
It’s voluntary and you can switch it off on your profile at any time. When it’s on, the editors can send you news about events near you — your location isn’t used for anything else.
How do I change my profile or photo?
Under My profile → Public profile you can set your nickname, bio and photo. That’s also where you decide whether your profile is public.
I don’t like something — what can I do?
Every video and comment has a Report button. The editors will look at the reported content and put things right. For more serious matters, write to us through the chat with the editors.
How do I delete my account?
At the bottom of My profile, next to Sign out, you’ll find the Delete account button. It can’t be undone — your videos, coins, comments and messages will all be deleted. You’ll find the details in the terms of use.
